Free to enter, the Farm Shop & Deli Retailer Awards, in partnership with The Grocer, are highly respected in the industry for playing an important role in supporting, and celebrating, the UK’s independent, specialist retail market across 11 categories.
This year, the awards will be celebrating specialist retailers and recognising their achievements in the independent sector.
No matter how large or small your steps may be, or what financial investment you have made, if you’ve demonstrated the above in your business, then we want to hear about, and celebrate, it!
FOR 2024, OUR AWARDS ARE ALL ABOUT SHOWCASING CHAMPIONS WITHIN SPECIALIST CATEGORIES
Our 2024 Awards:
- New for 2024: We are going to be celebrating retailers across 11 specialist retailer categories from Bakers and Butchers to Deli’s and Food Halls.
- We have changed our regions and are now offering seven 'Best in Region' awards.
Take a look at the categories and regions here. - We're pleased to announce our Retailer of the Year accolade will be awarded again this year.
- Plus, for any new businesses that opened after 1st January 2022, the judges will be looking to nominate entrants to win our ‘Newcomer of the Year’ award.

Entries are now closed and our judging took place in October and November. The finalist announcement will be released in early March.

The Awards organiser, William Reed, has been helping businesses succeed since the launch of The Grocer in 1862 and the drive to inform and serve their sectors flows through everything they do today. The Farm Shop & Deli Retailer Awards are no exception and, for the over ten years, they have celebrated, and supported, the speciality retail market by utilising their reputation and reach in the sector.
